Overview:

Drift Jam was and still is my original idea for a Drift Racing videogame. I do not wish to disclose all the crucial information pertaining to how I invision its play mechanics, or locations.

Drift Jam, the name has to deal with both the drifting aspect of the game, and the artistic style that is Drift. Combine elements of tuning, realistic physics, and a variety of upgrade options for a select group of "Dori" cars, and thats the basic premise.

Has this been done? Ofcourse, to the uninitiated, it started in the 16bit days of the SNES, and has taken baby steps sence. Generally though, most iterations are mere hops, as opposed to leaps, ahead in both gameplay mechanics and graphics.

Drift Jam is to capitalize on the short-sighted nature of this evolution, and set the standard for how a Drifting Game SHOULD play, look, and feel. It has many key elements which are non existant in the handful of such games available.
